THE OTTUMWA RC FLYER
June 2008
This month we have two overlapping events. Hopefully the weather will settle down so we can have a weekend of fun.
It will be an opportunity to do/see some float flying and 3D work the same weekend or even the same day.
June 27th –June 29th: Pro Bro Fly In sponsored by Harry Andrews and Bob Bratten.
Last year we had visitors from Colorado, Wyoming and the Chicago area.
Hopefully we will have even more this year.
Even if you don’t plan to participate, come on out and at least watch You will no doubt see some pretty insane stuff.
I know I did last year! Normal flying will be allowed at your own risk J.
June 28th: Float Fly at Ottumwa Park Campground sponsored by Bob Sherman.
There will be some park flyers and foamies flying as well as float planes.
If you can safely fly it in the space we have you are welcome to bring it.
We hope this event will increase our club’s visibility to the public
due to the balloon races that are going on at the same time.
